Detroit Volleyball Showcase & Coach Clinic

PLAYERS: Intermediate and advanced players will improve their skills while being observed by and networking with college coaches. You will experience college level training.

PARENTS: Unlike other showcases, you're welcome to attend all the sessions and learn about the recruiting process, college selection and more!

MS and HS COACHES: Learn coaching tips and drills that you can use right away and next season with your team.

Alabama State's 6-time SWAC Champion Head Coach Penny Lucas-White will lead this multi-day event for players, coaches and parents. Intermediate and advanced high school players (rising 9th graders welcome) will have the chance to network with coaches, learn college level skills, hear about playing at different collegiate levels, learn about the recruiting process, and SHOWCASE THEIR TALENTS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE.

Info: Recruiting and College Information, Position Training, Drills College Player Panel and Game Play. Time to show up and show out. (High School and AAU Coaches are welcome to come and observe and assist the college coaches as needed.)

Info: Defining your Leadership Philosophy - How do you make decisions? How do you deal with parents? How do you define your program year after year? How do you know it's time to move to the next level? This session will help you answer those questions.

Info: Drills, drills and more drills! Add fun into your team practices, challenge your players, and raise the energy level to keep players coming back excited for practice every day!

Info: Complimentary lunch provided while we discuss coaching Generation Alpha, discuss challenges and solutions, and how to continue moving volleyball forward in Detroit.
