Detroit Queer Sketch Series March

Join artists and Chris Gorski of and enjoy an evening of expressing our artistic side and enjoying each others company. will bring artists of all skill levels together at the Detroit GT Studio in Ferndale for a life drawing focus study of the male form.

DQSS will allow us to tap into our artistic side and feature a model who will hold poses between 5-minutes and 30-minutes, with breaks to stretch your legs, socialize with the artists, and have a drink.

The goal of DQSS is to bring our community together through art. Providing a new experience for novice artists and sharpen the skills of experienced artists while networking and building community.

Don’t have sketch materials? No worries, there will be supplies available for you to use or bring your favorite sketch pad, pencils, charcoals, paints, iPad….

Detroit Queer Sketch Series, in an effort to create an inclusive environment, is pay what you can afford with a suggested donation of $25. Everyone 18 and over is welcome regardless of financial ability. We are primarily gay men, but people of all gender identities are welcome.

When: Thursday, March 21st 6:30pm-9pm

Where: Detroit GT Studio 2301 Wolcott Ferndale

We will have non alcoholic refreshments and snacks available. Feel free to bring your favorite adult beverage.
