Join your Detroit Alumni Chapter for a one-of-a-kind Homecoming 2026 celebration aboard the Detroit Princess Riverboat.
Reconnect with fellow alumni, meet new faces, and enjoy a scenic cruise along the Detroit River with views of both Detroit and Windsor. From meaningful conversations to shared laughs over lunch, this event is all about community, connection, and celebrating Phoenix pride—Detroit style.
Bring a guest, rep your red, black, or UOPX gear, and get ready for an unforgettable afternoon on the water.

10:45 AM: Check-in at Detroit Princess Riverboat
- Look for the University of Phoenix table, where we will get you checked in and send you to the ship!
- Enjoy food and drinks before departure.
- First time at Detroit Princess Riverboat? Check out the venue.
11:00 AM: Boarding begins, closing 10 minutes before departure
12:00 PM: Boat departs on-time
12:05 PM: Welcome remarks from Leadership
12:15 PM: Catered lunch begins
2 :00 PM: Cruise ends, return to dock
Good to Know
🔥Registration Deadline: Registration closes May 27 at 5:00 PM sharp
🔥 Arrival Timing Matters: Please arrive starting at 10:45 AM. Boarding closes at 11:50 AM and the boat departs promptly at 12:00 PM
🔥Parking & Arrival: Parking is recommended at the structure on the corner of Bates St. & Atwater St. (use this intersection in GPS). From there, it’s a short 3–5 minute walk along the RiverWalk to the boat. For full parking details, directions, and pricing info, view here.
