October 4th is the first official meetup of Detroit Media + Technology (DM+T). The first Tuesday of every month DM+T will host a free meetup at Replay Cafè.

In October we will explore mixed reality video production and live compositing in Unreal Engine. There will be a green screen and virtual production station setup for guest to use & experience live compositing inside of Unreal Engine.
What is Unreal Engine and Virtual Production
Virtual production seamlessly combines physical and virtual elements using a suite of software tools. Studios can film on a stage and view virtual graphics together in real-time.
What is Replay Cafè?
Replay Cafe is the central, physical node of esport and gaming within Michigan. A single space that provides high powered gaming hardware, rock solid gigabyte internet, and a curated gaming library for the benefit of walk-in regular customers as well as nationally ranked competitive esports teams and organizations.
