Welcome to the Food Commons Marketplace!
Come join us at 8324 Woodward Ave FL 2, Detroit, MI 48202 for a day filled with eclectic art, artistry crafts, and products and services offered by our community members. Come out and rent a table and sell your art, music, jewelry, clothing, candles, and other favorite marketplace items. WE DO NOT ACCEPT VENDORS WHO SELL FOOD, CBD, MARIJUANA, OR ADULT-SEX PRODUCTS) FOOD IS SOLD ON OUR 1ST FLOOR until 8pm.
5pm to 6pm - Instructor: Aisha Ellis
KORE ALLURE - Floor exercises, stretching, pelvic concentration, breath work, and strengthening. Core and pelvic floor exercises help women by strengthening the muscles that support the bladder, uterus, and bowels, improving bladder control, enhancing sexual health, and reducing the risk of pelvic organ prolapse. These exercises also contribute to better posture, core stability, and overall physical wellness, especially after childbirth or during menopause.
5pm to 8pm - Detroit People's Food Co-Op Hot Food Bar
The Detroit People's Food Co-op's North End Hot Bar offers a variety of delicious, ready-to-eat meals, making it a popular choice among community members. The grocery store operates daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., providing convenient access to snacks, water, and refreshments. During the Food Commons Marketplace events, held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, visitors can enjoy these offerings while supporting local vendors.
