About this Event
This two-part upcycling workshop explores how to transform existing textiles into a unique detachable collar.
In Part 1 (May 29th), participants will work with a curated selection of pillowcases, curtains, and bedsheets to design their own collar. Using provided base patterns, they’ll develop custom shapes and experiment with texture, layering, and details like ruffles, buttons, and zippers sourced directly from the materials.
Participants will finish the session with their design cut and ready for construction. If time allows, they may begin sewing.
In Part 2 (June 5th), the focus shifts to sewing and finishing. Participants will assemble their collars, refine construction techniques, and leave with a fully wearable piece.
