Her mesmerizing stage presence led Cirque du Soleil to design the show “BAZAAR” around her soaring vocals, a production that took the Berkeley-reared artist around the world. More recently, she’s a founding member of Bobby McFerrin’s improvisation-laced a cappella ensemble Motion, and the immersion into his supremely inventive world has fueled her own music. As a soul-steeped solo artist she’s forged a genre-defying sound drawing on her love of Latin American music and urban grooves. With credits on more than 40 albums (including three projects nominated for Grammys) and collaborations with heavyweights such as John Santos, Taj Mahal, Zap Mama, Matisyahu, The Pharcyde and the Velvet Underground’s John Cale, Wolf is a transformative artist who reaches listeners’ hearts through the power of her voice.
