Brandi's Story:
Brandi's remarkable journey began in 2013 when a routine ultrasound detected a large tumor on her liver. Her first surgery to remove the tumor was during her hysterectomy for ovarian cancer in 2016 at Sanford in Sioux Falls. Despite the tumor's rapid return, Brandi's trust in God remained steadfast. After two years of procedures and sclerotherapy, which led to hospitalization with sepsis, a second attempt to remove the tumor was made in 2018 at the Mayo in Rochester, MN. Although the tumor recurred, Brandi's resilience shone through. Further surgeries and biopsies followed in 2020, leading to a planned laparoscopic liver resection surgery in 2023 in Fargo. Unfortunately, this surgery caused additional health issues. Brandi's unwavering faith led her to undergo open liver surgery in October 2024 at the Mayo in Rochester, where 20 lbs was removed from her liver. Though the entire tumor couldn't be removed, Brandi's inspiring story continues. Please join us in supporting Brandi and her husband Ron as they navigate this challenging time. Your contributions will help ease their financial burdens, allowing them to focus on whatβs most important: their six beautiful children, friends, family, and faith. β€οΈ
