Welcome to DESIGNwith x Climate Designers Toronto: Design as a Tool for Climate Justice! This collaborative event, hosted at DESIGNwith, invites you to an engaging in-person discussion and hands-on workshop. Explore how circular design, community co-design, and social innovation contribute to building a circular economy.
Members of the Climate Designers Toronto chapter and the public are welcome to attend.
The evening will begin with a seminar showcasing DESIGNwith as a caring design Lab, exploring the practical applications of circular design and the role of design thinking in shaping an alternative economy. Discover how partnerships with corporations, academic institutions, and community grassroots organizations can drive social and environmental impact.
Following this, we’ll discuss the future of design, leading to a hands-on workshop. In this session, you'll create a DESIGNwith Pouch from discarded banner materials using domestic sewing machines. This is a chance to connect, share, and apply basic sewing skills while networking with like-minded individuals.
