DesignTinkers 4-day Camp 2 (Jun)

Join us for an exciting 4-day Holiday Camp where children dive into a world of creativity, innovation, and hands-on discovery! Designed to spark curiosity and imagination, this engaging camp invites kids to explore a wide range of physical and digital design projects through purposeful play. From experimenting with new ideas to building practical skills, children will enhance dexterity, strengthen creative and critical thinking, and gain confidence as young innovators. Each day brings fresh opportunities to learn, create, problem-solve, and have fun in a dynamic environment that inspires exploration and meaningful discovery.

On Day 1, students will learn a basic introduction to TinkerCAD + 3D Printing (Level 1). Guided by experienced instructors and 3D printing specialists, students will learn TinkerCAD to create a mini stationery pot before exporting it to a 3D printer for printing. Students will witness the process of their digital form being printed from scratch.

While waiting for the 3D print, students will continue to explore TinkerCAD digital space, learning how to use the software as a design tool to create various digital forms. This immersive hands-on learning will empower them to envision, design, and shape their future prototypes.

On Day 2, students will delve deeper into the exploration of TinkerCAD, mastering more advanced modelling techniques to design, model and 3D print their own creations.

Challenge to model your dream home

On Day 3 and 4, students will dive into the exciting world of café design as they explore what it takes to create a one-of-a-kind space. From cozy corners to trendy themes, they’ll unleash their creativity by brainstorming unique concepts for their dream café. Each student will develop personalized floor plans, pick out furniture, colors, and décor, and bring their café vision to life, one detail at a time. It’s the perfect blend of imagination, design, and fun! DesignTinkers camps are thoughtfully curated and led by a passionate team of educators, architects and designers with a shared mission: to inspire and empower young minds through design. With extensive experience working with children and teens, our instructors are dedicated to nurturing each student’s creative interests in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. Our camps are held in our spacious and conducive classrooms where students can create and explore freely under guidance.
