Designing Playing & Tarot Cards: A Creative Workshop with Luke Libero
In this immersive 3-hour session, we will dive into something out of the norm. The art and craft of playing cards and tarot cards. We’ll explore theme development, symbolic language, and magical elements that give cards meaning and personality.
You'll learn the fundamentals of card composition, layout design, and how to approach the illustrative process. Whether you're aiming for a classic deck, a modern twist, or something uniquely personal.
Our primary tool will be within Adobe Illustrator, but you're welcome to work in any software or medium that suits your style and workflow. In addition I will supply some sheets of paper with templates, along with pencils and erasers.
Perfect for artists, designers, magicians, fans of magic and anyone intrigued by the blend of creativity, mysticism, and visual storytelling. So please come with deck ideas and we’ll explore!

There is actually the possibility of having your own deck made! In which I will be covering that in the workshop as well.
