*Where?*
Spilcaféen, Fredensgade 38 in Central Aarhus. The café will be exclusevely open only to us, so we have the entire café for ourselves!

*When?*
Friday, May 16th, from 10.00 to 22.00 (Store Bededag)
Saturday, May 17th, from 10.00 to 22.00
Sunday, May 18th, from 10.00 to 18.00
- Remember to "buy" a ticket for each day you will attend!

*What are we doing at the event?*
We get to nerd out 110% on the board game designer scale. Do all the stuff we wished we had time for at other regular events for everyone. This is designer time!
Bring your new ideas, half baked concepts, finished games that are in the development or anything in between. You do not have to bring anything, but you will get the most out of the event if you do. We will be playtesting "designer style", giving feedback and tips on everything you have questions about, and on every blind angle you didn't even consider before coming. You will grow. Your games will grow, and you will get closer to reaching your goals as a designer!
We'll also do a Round Table Talk, where you can ask any question you like about board game design. Maybe you want to know what it's like to self-publish? Or perhaps which publishers are good to work as a freelance designer? Or what the best practice is to make cards for your prototype? Nothing is to big or too small to ask here!

*Food!*
You will be able to buy drinks (coffee, tea, sodas, beers etc.), but not cocktails and food items that requires preparation (the café is not fully staffed while we are there).
Note: Please try your best to buy your drinks and snacks in the café to support it financially, making it more likely we can return next year as well!
Daily lunch break from 12.00 to 13.00, and dinner break from 18.00 to 19.00.
We are super privileged to have Aarhus Street Food less than a minute walk away. Here you can find all sorts of delicious food from around 30 different food vendors. Prices are range from relatively cheap to not too expensive. Of course there is also McDonalds and pizza places etc. It's central Aarhus, so there are many options.
You can bring the food from Street Food to eat at our café - we have cutlery there as well, and then you can also buy your drink at the café as well.

*Getting there by bus or train*
The café is extremely well situatied for arrival and departure by bus or train. Right outside (0-1 minute walk away), you will find the two main bus and train stations, which connects to all of Denmark - and the Airports as well:

Aarhus Rutebilstation (Aarhus Central Bus Station)
Aarhus Hovedbanegård (Aarhus Central Train Station).

Aim for arrival at one of those two, and you arrive pretty much on the doorstep of the café!

*Flying in (if you travel from abroad)*
The closest airport is Aarhus Airport (AAR) a very small airport (not that many flights), from which you can catch a bus (925X) to Aarhus Central Bus Station.
Other options to fly in are Billund (BLL) or Copenhagen Airport (CPH) - but keep in mind there will be a longer train- or bus ride from those to Aarhus;

Aarhus Airport (AAR) ~1,0 hour bus ride away.
Billund Airport (BLL) ~1,5 hours bus ride away.
Copenhagen Airport (CPH) ~3,5 hours train ride away.

*Where do I sleep?*
There's no sleeping at the actual event, but there are many options that are relatively cheap near by. I can recommend the following, but AirBnB's or other hotels are plenty in the area as well:
- Roberta's Society Aarhus (cheap dorms available)
- Danhostel Aarhus City
- Cabinn Aarhus
Since the event itself is free to attend, you should hopefully be able to afford accommodation.
