Join us for our semester opening party on Wednesday, April 8th from 6:00–9:00 PM at 7 Ramsey Street in Dorchester. Together, we’ll explore how to meet this political moment with intention, play, and joy- through art, organizing, disruption, in community.
About our Spring 2026 Semester
This Design Gym semester, we're focused on "Meeting the Moment" in this political climate and asking the question: "How do we amplify our collective courage?"
In a moment shaped by fear, urgency, and attempts to instill division, we believe our power grows when we join together in collective action. By making visible traces of our courage in public, through acts both massive and mundane, we connect with our commitment to move forward in solidarity.
Come learn about Momentum Lab, our newest intervention bringing neighbors, organizers, artists, youth, and community groups into shared space to co-design meaningful responses to this moment, and sign up for a Design Team as we collectively explore and prototype new ideas that we've imagined seeing and being in our communities.
About our Opening Event
At the Opening, you will get to engage in creative activities, see new and old friends, enjoy great food, and learn more about our theme "Meeting the Moment" through the Momentum Lab- our semester offerings- and our Design Teams.

New to the Design Gym?
The Design Gym is a new community infrastructure, a mashup, a place to work out new ideas, stretch the muscles of imagination, meet neighborhood artists and organizers, imagine and prototype new solutions, learn design techniques, and collectively rebuild our communities to be more just and vibrant. Come be in community with us, bring a friend or meet a new one!

A free municipal parking lot is across the street from 7 Ramsey St.
