At fivelittlegoldfish, I will guide you to design and make your own bag in a day.
Whether it's a tote, messenger or bucket bag, has pockets or zips, adjustable straps or handles, cotton or vinyl, let's give it a whirl!
You provide the main fabric and bring your sewing machine, and I will provide the rest - zips, elastic, interfacing, kit for quilting or apliqué and more - as well as technical know-how and teaching space.
Whether you're beginning your sewing journey or more experienced, this will suit.
We will cover any/all or the following:
- straight and curved stitch lines
- zips
- pockets, various
- different bag constructions
- use of structural elements
- decorative elements such as stitching, appliqué, patchwork, quilting
- strap or handle construction
