DESIFEST 2026 returns to Sankofa Square on June 19–20, 2026 for two unforgettable days celebrating music, culture, and community.

For 20 years, DESIFEST has brought together generations of artists and fans through Bollywood, Punjabi, Tamil, fusion, hip-hop, classical, and global sounds that reflect the South Asian diaspora in Canada.

Bollywood Remix

The classics, remixed live.

Experience Bollywood and Punjabi favourites reimagined through DJs, live bands, and artists blending sounds from around the world. From Afrobeats and hip-hop to soca and desi rhythms, the night builds into a massive live Bhajan Jam where the entire square sings together under the Toronto skyline.

This is Bollywood with a new pulse. Loud, vibrant, and made for every generation.

Bollywood Unplugged

12 hours of live music, culture, and connection.

Start the day with qawwali, classical fusion, and acoustic performances, then move into Bollywood anthems, live bands, and a special 20-year DESIFEST medley performed by artists who helped shape the festival’s journey.

Enjoy food vendors, family-friendly activities, a kids zone, and a community atmosphere that brings thousands together through music and shared memories.

From Ranjha singalongs to dance floor energy, this is the soundtrack of 20 years of DESIFEST.
