Based in Fort Collins, Colorado, Desiderata emerges from the heart of the Southwest, having originally formed in Durango. Their sound strikes a seamless balance between tight, irresistible grooves that compel you to move and free meandering expression. Imagine Fleetwood Mac’s timeless melodies colliding with Chromeo’s modern funk energy. The five-piece features Autumn Ford’s silky, pop-infused vocals, Connor “Minky” Klimenko’s grooving bass, Hamo Thorneycroft on lead guitar, Jake Ostrowski on keys, and Will Roberts on drums. Desiderata’s music captures the beauty found in desert sunsets, mountain vistas, cherished friendships, and neon-lit dance floors beneath a spinning disco ball.
