Join Desert Moon Botanicals for a guided plant walk at Veterans Oasis Park, focused on medicinal plants that grow in desert wetland and wash environments.This outdoor walk offers an opportunity to move slowly through the landscape and observe plants where they grow, how they respond to seasonal water, and how herbalists work with plants in these environments. We’ll observe plants currently growing or in bloom, practice identification, and discuss their traditional uses in food, medicine, and daily living.
Some plants discussed may also appear on other Desert Plant Walks throughout the season. Seeing the same species in different locations supports stronger recognition and practical plant knowledge.
This is an educational walk. No harvesting will take place.
