🎉 Derwent Reservoir Trail Runs – Sunday 17th May 2026 🎉Our popular 5k & 10k Trail Runs at Derwent Reservoir will be returning on Sunday 17th May 2026, alongside our Sprint (Short) and Standard Duathlons.
🏞️ New to Trail Running? This could be ideal for you! Our trail runs are suited for all fitness levels and take in the breathtaking reservoir and surroundings.
🏞️ Derwent Reservoir
This outstanding reservoir, owned by Northumbrian Water, sits on the border of Durham & Northumberland. The trail runs will take place from the south side of the reservoir.
👟 Most of the running is on firm trails and footpaths, with some sections on grass and woodland.
🗓️ Event Distances
🏃 5km Trail Run – Age 11+
🏃 10km Trail Run – Age 15+
We also have Sprint (Short) and Standard Duathlons at this event
🐕 Cani-Cross
This event is Canicross friendly and we allow 1 controlled dog per runner 🐾
⏰ Start Times
We expect the Trail Runs to start approx 10am but exact times will be confirmed closer to the event.
⏱️ Timing
Live Chip Timing will be provided by Timing Up North.
