Join us for the April 2026 meeting of the Derry-Free Horror Book Club, The Briar Patch new book club dedicated to spine-tingling reads. Vol. 15 of the Derry-Free Horror Book Club will discuss WOLF WORM by T. Kingfisher, a new gothic masterpiece in which something darker than the devil stalks the North Carolina woods.Join us on Wednesday, April 29 at 7:30pm at BookSpace (48 Columbia St., Bangor) to talk about the novel, its characters, scares and more. There will also be light refreshments!

For more than 35 years, The Briar Patch has inspired and delighted generations of readers of all ages in Bangor, Maine. Specializing in children's books and creative playthings from birth through high school, the shop also carries grownup books including fiction, cookbooks, titles on parenting, resources for teachers and more.
