Chicago house legend Derrick Carter brings his unmistakable sound to Warehouse on Broadway on Friday, May 22.
A key figure in Chicago’s house movement, Carter has spent decades shaping dance floors around the world with his technical skill, musical range, and instinct for rocking a crowd. His sets are rooted in house but driven by a deeper musical sensibility, built from years of digging, experimenting, and playing purely for the love of it.
From early days spinning disco records at family gatherings to becoming a global underground icon, Carter’s approach has always been about doing things his own way and connecting with people through music.

Located in the Westport neighborhood one of Kansas City’s premiere bar districts. Our venue is your venue, as we all gather to celebrate extraordinary experiences with the finest local, regional, and national artists the universe has to offer.
Our restaurant Sound Bite Social is open Wednesday-Saturday, 5p-1a. And Sunday-Tuesday during events. Entrance to the restaurant is located on the north side of the building, and is accessible without a show ticket, or with from inside the venue.
