Derbyshire Makes Festival in Chesterfield: Well Dressing Workshops
Get hands-on at the Derbyshire Makes Festival with our bespoke Well Dressing Workshops in Chesterfield! Join us in person to discover the traditional art of decorating wells using natural materials and creativity. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just curious, these workshops are perfect for adults and over 12s. Don’t miss a chance to dive into local heritage and make something beautiful with your own hands!
There is a morning and afternoon workshop. Each lasts 90 minutes. Mary will demonstrate the traditional Derbyshire art of well dressing and you will be invited to make your own mini well dressing using clay and natural materials. Please check in about 10 minutes before the start of your workshop.
