Many of you will know that Lewisham Cyclists have to clear out our workshop from the Scout Hut this year. We are still in the process of finding somewhere else with landlords as friendly and generous as the Scouts have been. (Any ideas/contacts for pass on to us). But we want to make our last Second Sunday session there a bit special to celebrate around 8 years of working with the community here. So, as well as our usual monthly community cycle workshop we will add wa seasonal twist. A bicycle jumble sale with our remaining adult and children’s bicycles, second hand bicycle parts, and also new parts as we have nowhere to store all our kit, cycle accessories and some clothing, books. Also seasonal refreshments. Mulled wine, spiced apple juice, mince pies and Christmas biscuits. Come on down, get your bike checked and fixed, buy some cycling themed presents, have a chat, meet your neighbours. Remember, if you have a specific problem on your bike that you want help with, it always helps to email us beforehand with pictures etc, so that we can tell you if we are likely to be able to fix it on the day, or not. Absolutely everyone welcome.
