The 17th annual Denver Veterans Day Run and 12th annual Denver Veterans Day Parade & Festival, in partnership with the City of Denver, will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 at City Park in Denver.Recognized as “Denver’s Run for Veterans Day” by Mayor Mike Johnson, the run will welcome runners, joggers and walkers of all levels to participate in 5K and 10K races, as well as the 10K Rippetoe Rucksack Challenge – a test of endurance in which participants carry a 25-pound ruck or backpack throughout the course.
Following the run, attendees will enjoy the Denver Veterans Day Parade & Festival. The parade will feature marching bands, floats, car and motorcycle clubs, military vehicles, historical reenactments and more. The festivities will continue with the family-friendly festival, complete with a beer garden, kids’ activities, local vendors and additional entertainment.
