With releases such as Throne of Desolation (album 2023) and Prophets of the Void (album 2025) Progeny of Sun has gained recognition for their intensity both on record and on stage, steadily building an international following. 𝐋𝐈𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐀 is not only a natural phenomenon, but also a musical one, rising from the very heart of Lithuania – Vilnius. The band was founded in 2024 by Eva (rhythm guitar) and former bassist Liepa. Other members – Matas (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Tomas (lead vocals) – joined at the beginning of 2025, while after several changes in the lineup, the role of drummer was ultimately taken on by Kasparas.
The band has been storming the stage since the spring of 2025, bringing a true downpour of gentle melodies and a blizzard of harsh guitar riffs wherever they perform. It is a fusion of darkness and light, truth and lies, sun and moon, overwhelming and enchanting the audience with its creations.
