You're invited to join us for an evening of community and connection, in discussion with Denis Ginnivan, author of The Indi Way. About the book:
In 2012, twelve people met for the first time at their local library in the rural and regional electorate of Indi in north-east Victoria, driven by a growing sense of despair about how their community was being represented.
This was one of the actions which gave rise to Cathy McGowan, a long-time resident of the Indi electorate becoming their representative in Canberra.
The Indi Way is a story with grassroots beginnings, and has become a movement Australia-wide. Inspired by a passion for amplifying voices in local communities, Denis began a mission to engage everyday people in rich discussion on changing the political landscape, for the better.
Denis has compiled The Indi Way to show how we can achieve good things just by getting together in own small comfortable spaces, discussing how things might be done better, and having the necessary conversations to start making change.
We'd love to see you on Monday 29th of July at 6:30pm. Light food and beverages will be provided, and conversation is welcomed!
