Denin Slage-Koch is anything but a "traditional" jazz guitarist - at his shows, you'll hear sounds inspired by everything from Wes Montgomery to Led Zeppelin to Joni Mitchell and beyond. The young virtuoso is known for his live sets which include beautiful interpretations of some of the world's greatest songs ("Everybody Wants to Rule the World" is a fan favorite) alongside his own inspiring compositions and classic jazz tunes. Lovers of the electric guitar, grooving music, and clever spins on old favorites are sure to leave inspired and uplifted!
Slage-Koch is joined by two of Colorado's finest musicians, Seth Lewis and Bobby Wiens, both of whom recorded on Slage-Koch's most recent recording "It Comes in Waves."
Guitarist and composer Denin Slage-Koch has released three albums under his own name to critical acclaim, performed with artists including Gregory Tardy, Ryan Keberle, Rudresh Mahanthappa, and more, arranged music for international touring artists and professional big bands throughout the United States, and more. He currently resides in Knoxville, TN, where he is a professor of music at the University of Tennessee.
