Demystifying Solar for Homes: A Live Workshop on Solar Array Design with Eva’s Energy Ltd

Join us for an informative and practical web event where we delve into the world of solar energy for residential properties. Hosted by Parisa Wright, founder of Greener & Cleaner, and Matthew White, co-founder of Eva’s Energy Limited, this workshop will empower you with essential knowledge about solar panel systems for your home.

We will run a live workshop to walkthrough ‘real world’ solar designs, do some myth busting and answer your 'burning questions'!

Come share your personal experiences and examples of solar and also hear about local residential solar array designs that are pre-installation.

Local case studies will be used, so if you don't have solar yet and if you would like to submit your home for free solar design consultation and/or as a case study for the workshop, please see application details below.

Format: Live 60 minute online workshop, starting at 7.30p.m.
Focus: Designing solar arrays for homes
Agenda:
1. Introduction to Solar Panels: Understand the basics of solar energy and its benefits for homeowners.
2. System Design Overview: Using real-world examples, including from an audience member, see examples of space/design efficient solar systems.
3. Optimal Panel Layout: Explore the best placement of panels on a home’s roof, considering regulations and client-specific energy needs.
4. Solar Report Insights: We will look at the expected cost and energy benefits of the solar design, including:
5. Payback Period: How long will it take to recoup the investment (i.e. the number of years).
6. Annual Energy Production: Estimate the energy the system will generate.
7. Grid Dependence Percentage: Understand the continued reliance on the grid.
8. Q&A Session: Get answers to your solar-related questions.
