All demonstrations are included within the entry fee for Art in Penallt and there are 2 demonstrations each day, morning and afternoon, all taking place at the Bush Inn Penallt.
Advance Tickets for the event can be bought online, or purchased on the door on the day of your visit.

MONDAY 1.30pm - 3.30pm Melanie Fritz Painting in Gouache
Demonstration brief: Colourful Still Life in Gouache
Painter and textile artist Melanie Fritz will show you how to play with bold and vibrant colour combinations to create still lifes that burst with energy.
We’ll start with setting up still life objects, and visitors are invited to provide an intriguing object of their own.
Then we’ll lay a background wash and choose colours that may or may not reflect reality. We’ll bring them together with line and brushwork and sort things out when they go wrong, until it all comes together in a pleasing result.
