We meet up on the back side of Roanoke City Municipal Building on Campbell Ave. Sign-in starts as early as 8:30am. The actual parade itself starts at noon. You can figure out the best time to arrive for you!Please come prepared to sing along with and walk to the beat of Dolly Parton's dulcet tones - we'll be blasting Working 9 to 5. If you can - wear a red bandana - in solidarity with the real and original rednecks, the miners of Blair Mountain, WV.
The parade lasts from the Municipal Building to Williamson Rd., a straight shot down Campbell Ave. Determine for yourself if you can make that walk, if not, please join the crowds in cheering on our Union brothers and sisters!
Please bring your home-made signs, just remember to focus on workers, and our support for the people who make this country run. We appreciate you!
