* What is Deep Canvassing?*
Deep canvassing differs from traditional canvassing in a few ways. It:
- centers issues, not candidates
- aims for a 20-30 minute conversation, not short superficial interactions to confirm a vote or voting plan
- enables canvassers to cut through cult of personality and partisan differences and create a lightbulb moment with voters
- reconnects both canvasser and canvasee to deeper shared values of care for community
