Hall opens at 7pm for members to help set up for the demonstration, membership payment and sales. Demonstration- Steve Jarrold is a prominent figure in the Australian bonsai community, notably in Victoria. He is a skilled bonsai artist and enthusiast, known for his work with deciduous trees and Japanese Black Pines.
He has been an active member of various bonsai groups and served as the President of the Bonsai Society of Victoria from 2009 to 2012. He regularly participates in events, offering his expertise through demonstrations and "Share & Tell" sessions, such as those on deciduous tree techniques. His work has also been recognized in exhibitions, winning "Best in Show" for his Japanese Black Pine at the Waverley Bonsai Group Exhibition in 2024.
