Halmer Court Care Home is pleased to host a new wellbeing workshop focused on the benefits of nature and the positive impact the outdoors can have on health and wellbeing. Led by George Dewis, the session is designed for families, carers, and members of the local community who would like to learn more about the therapeutic value of spending time in nature.
The workshop will explore how natural environments can support emotional wellbeing, reduce stress and anxiety, encourage meaningful engagement, and promote relaxation and connection. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain practical ideas for incorporating nature into everyday life, ask questions, and learn more about the ways outdoor experiences can positively benefit overall wellbeing.
This is a free event for anyone wishing to learn more about dementia in a supportive and informative environment.
