About this Event

What can I gain from this event?

The day will cover in some detail the various areas around palliative care of a patient with Dementia, including Person-Centred Care, Assessment, Pharmacology, dealing with agitation and aggressive behaviour, issues around co-morbidities such as Depression and Diabetes, with plenty of time for questions and discussion. The course is delivered by a range of experts within their fields of practice.

Who can attend?It is expected that you will have a basic knowledge of Dementia. The day is aimed at people who are dealing with palliative and end-of-life care regularly, whether qualified or unqualified.
