Our Dementia Drop-ins meet each week at the Totton and Eling Community Centre. The aim, to reduce loneliness and isolation for older people, by providing people with a safe space to be themselves. We provide warm and friendly expert support to people affected by dementia – that’s people with a dementia and their families and friends. We meet each week and enjoy conversation, a cuppa and homemade cake!
The group is supported by volunteers and we provide support and advice from professional dementia services and various speakers working in the field of dementia care. Dr Kellyn Lee is often on hand for one-to-one support too.
