Join us on Saturday, November 8th, during the Health Expo at Town Square University Parkway for a special educational session, “The Caregiver’s Journey,” presented by Dr. Tam Cummings, PhD, Gerontologist — a nationally recognized author, educator, and expert in dementia care. This inspiring presentation explores both the emotional and practical realities of caregiving through the lens of education, empathy, and community. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the differences between a healthy aging brain and one affected by cognitive decline, learning how to recognize early signs and respond with confidence. The discussion will also explore the evolving stages of the caregiver’s journey, offering real-world insight, encouragement, and proven strategies for balance and resilience. This session will be recorded to create valuable educational content designed to support and empower caregivers across our community. Class begins at 1:00 PM and guests are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early. Respite is available, but space is limited - Registration is required.
