About this Event
Join us on December 12, 2025, 7pm at the Centennial Memorial Temple in New York City for Demba Tandia – Celebrating 20 Years of Music & Legacy, a historic concert honoring two decades of artistry, identity, and cultural pride.
Known as “The Voice of the Soninke”, Demba Tandia, the Franco-Mauritanian icon, blends ancestral rhythms with Afro-pop, soul, jazz, and reggae — creating a sound that connects generations and continents.
For the first time in the United States, he will perform with his full band, traditional musicians, dancers, and griots in an unforgettable live experience celebrating Soninke heritage and the unity of African cultures.
This special anniversary night, proudly presented by Show Mondial, also features rising Malian star Djeneba Diaoune, affectionately known as Adji Ka Djeneba, whose powerful and soulful voice continues to captivate audiences across Africa.
Together, they promise a vibrant celebration of tradition, resilience, and modern African artistry — a journey through rhythm, emotion, and legacy.
The Soninke tradition speaks. Africa sings. New York listens.
