About this Event
Climate change, political instability and conflict, and a global pandemic have exposed and exacerbated a mental health crisis that affects millions of people around the world. How can we address the challenges and opportunities in global mental health, especially in low- and middle-income countries where resources and services are scarce? How does stigma and discrimination play into the global mental health crisis? How can we, as a global development community, deliver on mental health needs as a human right and a public good, ensuring that no one is left behind?
FHI 360 UK will host an engaging conversation with experts from FHI 360, United for Global Mental Health and the Wellcome Trust who will share their insights and experiences on advancing mental health research, advocacy and innovation. Learn about the latest evidence, best practices, and emerging solutions for improving mental health outcomes and reducing the treatment gap.
