From ambition to implementation: A proven decarbonisation delivery model.
A performance-backed framework accelerating building upgrades.
About this Event

Join us on Thursday, 9th April for the Delivering DeliveREE conference, where we’ll showcase the final results of the DeliveREE project and what they mean for the future of building upgrades in Ireland.

DeliveREE has developed and tested a scalable approach to delivering energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades that reduces uncertainty and improves outcomes. What sets the model apart is straightforward: it includes a guarantee of energy performance, emission reductions and cost savings within the lifetime of the contract.

In other words, it’s designed to ensure that upgrades deliver what they promise - making retrofitting less complex for building managers, rewarding contractors for strong performance and supporting important energy and emission reduction targets.

Organised by Dublin’s Energy Agency Codema, this event is a must-attend for public sector bodies, commercial building owners, contractors, energy consultants and anyone involved in planning or delivering energy upgrades.

We’ll share the key findings from the project, with practical lessons learned from local authorities in Ireland who are using the DeliveREE model to decarbonise high energy use buildings in order to meet their 2030 climate targets. This event will outline how the DeliveREE model can be replicated by organisations across Ireland and how it can act as a decarbonisation pathway to achieving guaranteed energy and carbon savings.

You’ll hear how DeliveREE supports a clearer, more cost-effective pathway from early decision-making through to delivery - with guidance through each step of the process, operation and maintenance built into the contract, and energy and emission savings actively monitored over the lifetime of the agreement. You’ll hear first-hand experience from both clients and contractors on the opportunities, risks and challenges that come with decarbonisation of building heating and electrical systems, and how this can be implemented on live buildings in a way that minimises disruption.

The conference will also explore how this approach can speed up delivery timelines and help reduce the risks that often slow projects down or undermine results. We’ll explain how the structure of the DeliveREE models ensures that risk is allocated to the stakeholders most suited and capable of managing this risk, and that this structure underpins the decarbonisation partnership between the client and the contractor.

Whether you’re looking to upgrade a building, procure works with greater certainty, or understand what “guaranteed performance” can look like in practice, this conference will provide a grounded, results-focused view of what DeliveREE has achieved - and how it can be applied next.

What you can expect:
  • A clear overview of the DeliveREE model and why it matters
  • Practical advice on EU and national supports available
  • Clear case studies: What worked well and lessons learned from both the client and contractor perspective
  • How the approach simplifies and standardises delivery
  • An honest, open appraisal on whether energy performance guarantees provide value for money
  • Discussion on replicating and scaling the model across Ireland
  • Learnings from international experience
  • Opportunities to connect with others working on building decarbonisation

Why attend?

Are you planning building upgrades but unsure where to start? Many building owners and managers find traditional retrofits hard to navigate, with too many moving parts and too much uncertainty around cost, delivery and results. If that sounds familiar, this event is for you.

For public sector bodies and building clients, DeliveREE shows a clearer way to deliver upgrades with confidence. The model builds guaranteed energy performance, emission reductions and cost savings into the contract, so decisions can be made with greater certainty - helping you achieve better value for money and contribute to national energy efficiency and decarbonisation targets.

For contractors and market facilitators, DeliveREE supports a more consistent pipeline of well-prepared projects, with a standardised approach that reduces risk and rewards high-quality delivery. It also strengthens long-term performance through built-in operation, maintenance and ongoing monitoring - helping ensure projects perform as intended over time.
