Open to new experiences? We're flipping the script on traditional workshops and creating something different – an afternoon where fusion dance meets meaningful connection. We want to develop a cozy gathering where we'll learn, laugh, and build real connections, an afternoon that's part workshop and part social experience.
This time, we’re excited to welcome Diana from Lille as our special guest; people had a great time and plenty of laughs at her workshop at Brussels Fusion Exchange, and we’re looking forward to having her bring that same energy to our afternoon.
This event is for those who already speak the basic language of partner dancing (think lead and follow dynamics, basic frame and connection principles) and want to dive deeper into the fusion dance community.

- Social Dancing (4h): Put your new skills and connections into joyful practice
We encourage both experienced dancers and those starting their journey with fusion dance to join the workshops. This is the space where we will get to know each other through dance and co-create a common dance language, which will lead to more meaningful and dynamic dances.

Dinner
The dinner will be an opportunity to get to know each other better, share your dance history, and exchange views on dancing.
Dinner will be served at Kamilou Arts-Loi restaurant and will be fully vegetarian. If you have any allergies or other dietary requirements, please communicate them during the registration, and we will the restaurant to prepare something special for you.
Your ticket includes dinner, but drinks are not covered. You'll be responsible for ordering and paying for your own beverages during the meal.

What is Fusion Dance?
Fusion is an improvised partner dance where both the leader and the follower contribute their ideas to create a dance that is unique and imaginative. It can be danced in a 'switch' style, where the roles of leader and follower change fluidly throughout the dance. Fusion draws concepts, figures, and rhythms from other partner dances such as tango, blues, forró, and Latin dances.
The dance adapts to various types of music, including electronic music, soft melodies blending piano and vocals, modern covers of well-known songs. Almost anything goes! Fusion events bring together dancers with different backgrounds, allowing for improvised rules during the dance. Simultaneously, fusion is developing its own movements and aesthetics, evolving dynamically.
