Fun-A-Day is a community-centric art project and show that happens in cities all over the country each year – and we represent the whole state of Delaware! Participants choose a project and produce one piece of artwork every day for an entire month (July 2026 this year!). The resulting pieces create a narrative outlining each artist’s journey throughout the month. We then put on a HUGE group show, this year on August 14-16, 2026 at The Courtyard by Marriott (Newark, DE).Please Register by June 30th to Participate!

The 2026 Delaware Fun-A-Day Opening Night is at The Courtyard by Marriott (University of Delaware) in Newark, DE on Friday, August 14th from 4-9pm. We will celebrate with food, drinks, music, and thousands of works of art! Come see over 6,200 pieces of artwork on display in a kaleidoscopic exhibit of artwork from over 300+ artists / creators!
On Saturday, the exhibit is open 9am-9pm with a special Maker Night from 4-9pm. This is a socialize and make-art-together evening of fun! Bring a project, find a chair, and let's make!
The show will remain on exhibit at through Sunday, August 16th from 9am-6pm. This is a 3 day event this year!
NEW THIS YEAR!! A block of rooms with a special rate is available to participants who might like to stay a night. The Maker Night is an all-new experience. DEFAD is also an official non-profit (just working on the 501-c3 status now) but we're doing it!! Woohoo!
