🎶✨ Cuban Son Course – Advanced Level ✨🎶
This course is designed for students who want to go deeper into the essence and elegance of Cuban Son, improving their technique, musicality, and connection in dance.
During the classes we will work on the three fundamental styles of Son:
🔹 Traditional Son – The authentic root, with its cadence, elegance, and original flavor.
🔹 Son Montuno – More rhythmic dynamics, musical play, and development of partner work.
🔹 Modern Son – The evolution of the style, adding fluidity, creativity, and adaptation to new sounds.
We will focus on precision of movement, musical interpretation, clear leading and following, and the details that make Son a sophisticated dance full of history.
🔥🎶 Salsa Course – Intermediate / Advanced Level 🎶🔥
This course is designed for students who want to improve their salsa with more musicality, confidence, and natural movement on the dance floor.
We will work on how to understand the changes in the music, what to do when the energy rises, and how to react smoothly without repeating steps automatically.We will combine modern movements that are popular today with the traditional foundation of Cuban Salsa Casino, to create a complete and current style.
We will also look at important social dancing skills: connection, improvisation, and what to do (and what to avoid) when dancing with different partners.
The goal is to help you dance with ease, feel confident, and enjoy the music without thinking about the next step.
🌍✨ Afro-Cuban Course – From Zero ✨🌍
This course is designed to learn Afro-Cuban dance from the beginning, following the same methodology and structure used in professional dance academies in Cuba.
We will study not only the movements, but also the cultural context:
🔸 History and origin of these dances.
🔸 Traditional clothing and elements used in practice.
🔸 The identity and characteristics of each oricha.
🔸 Their steps, their meaning, and the intention behind every movement.
The goal is to give you a complete understanding of these traditions connected to Yoruba culture, which comes from Nigeria (Africa) and is deeply present in Cuba today.
We will work on coordination, body expression, connection with the drum rhythms, and respect for the tradition, to understand Afro-Cuban dance as movement, culture, and living history.u
