In celebration of Lawrence Humane's all-November-long "Tales for Tails" Reading Challenge, we're hosting a super fun, children's storytime with one of our favorite people of all time, Deja Brooks! Families with kiddos of all ages are invited to join us on Sunday, November 24th, 10-11am, at Lawrence Humane! Deja will read and perform stories embracing our local LGBTQ+ community and celebrating families of all kinds. We may even have some kittens available for snuggles during story hour!
Deja’s Reading Rainbow is about love and friendship, being different and belonging, being unique and being accepted, colors, rainbows, and, of course, fun! 🌈❤️
This event is free, but a donation of cat food for our pet pantry is much appreciated!
