Degrees of Success - Sustainable Living

Our annual Degrees of Success Conference will be held on February 15th, 2026 hosted at the Brampton City Hall in the Peel Region. This free event is open to youth (aged 9+) and families, with special focus on newcomers. The 2026 theme is Sustainable Living, highlighting climate action and innovative solutions for a greener future. Designed to be interactive and inspiring, the conference will feature hands-on activities, engaging presentations, TEDx-style talks and a panel from distinguished South Asian speakers in STEMM. Speakers will share personal journeys and professional insights shaped by their South Asian heritage, highlighting the intersection between culture, sustainability, and STEMM careers. Past speakers have included youth featured by science organizations like NASA, student innovators who launched  STEMM initiatives during COVID-19, as well as professors and educators.
