DEFIANT PRAISE!
As God's people we are called to worship God even when our lives feel empty and broken, even when we are struggling with sin and shame, and even when the world around us feels chaotic and out of control. Even then...especially then...we are called to worship because our God is worthy of praise! Wonderfully, it is when we choose to lift our hearts and clench our fists in defiant praise that God is pleased to meet with us and to minister his mercy and grace to us.
This conference has been organised to encourage worshippers and worship leaders to keep looking to Jesus and to praise him faithfully, relentlessly and defiantly. We are therefore thrilled to welcome Sol and Carlie Fenne to lead the conference. Their music ministry – – is birthed out of a desire to help people in some of Scotland's toughest communities to connect with God and worship him. Their songs beautifully reflect that heart. Together, they will be teaching us how and why to praise God defiantly, as well as joining others to deliver practical seminars for worshippers, song-writers and musicians.
To be clear – this is not just a conference for worship leaders and musicians, rather it is for anyone who wants to be equipped, encouraged and emboldened to live a life of defiant praise.
Lunch will be provided and tickets are FREE. However, an offering will be taken to cover the costs of the conference.
