In odd numbered years, the people of the United States elect politicians at the federal level, including congressmen, senators, POTUS, and the VP. But there is an element of the federal government that rarely experiences any changeover. An unelected bureaucracy of various agencies and power brokers remains deeply entrenched in Washington DC.
The Deep State in the United States is an amalgamation of government bureaucrats, agency heads, financiers and industry leaders that effectively governs the United States without reference to the consent of the governed as expressed through the formal political process.” The Deep State is not a secret, conspiratorial cabal. It sits mostly in plain sight, and operates in the light of day, in defiance of the will of the people.
The Deep State is committed to hiding the secrets of past administrations, enriching military industrial contractors, and infringing upon our liberties in order to justify its existence.
Were it not for the deep state, Julian Assange would be free. Our military budget would be much smaller. The information of JFK’s assassination would be public.
It is time for us to defeat the deep state.
