Deerhoof jsou nezastavitelní. U kapely, kterou definuje chaos, je skoro neuvěřitelné, že právě slaví 31 let existence. Od skromných počátků v polovině devadesátek se obskurní noisové uskupení díky nespoutanému přístupu a odvaze riskovat stalo jednou z nejvlivnějších kapel nového tisíciletí. Pitchfork je dokonce označil slovy „the best band in the world“ a v průběhu let odehráli nespočet koncertů po celém světě, včetně turné s Wilco, The Roots, Beckem, The Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth nebo Radiohead.
Diskografii skupiny kolem zpěvačky a baskytaristky Satomi Matsuzaki definuje neústupná kreativita. V jejich pestrobarevném zvukovém vesmíru se potkávají dravost punku s jikřivými popovými melodiemi, svoboda free-jazzu s disonantními hard-rockovými riffy a chaos no-waveu s perkusivními explozemi i surrealistickým humorem. Každé album Deerhoof otevírá nové zvukové dveře – nejinak je tomu u nejnovější desky Noble and Godlike in Ruin, s kterou kapela vyráží na jarní evropské turné se zastávkou v MeetFactory, kam se vrací po necelých dvou letech.

Večer zahájí BearCloud, projekt mladého hudebníka a producenta Šimona Havelky, který propojuje písničkářskou intimitu s elektronickými prvky. Jeho hudební tvorba je charakteristická osobními texty, pohlcující atmosférou a schopností vytvářet prostor pro hlubší a soustředěný poslech. Debutové album s názvem Faves vydal v lednu 2025 u Polí5. U stejného vydavatelství vyšlo na podzim jeho čtyřskladbové EP Meeting with a Bear. Na rok 2026 chystá BearCloud vydání další nahrávky.

The discography of the band around singer and bassist Satomi Matsuzaki is characterized by infinite creativity. In their colorful sonic universe, the ferocity of punk meets sparkling pop melodies, trenchant social commentary, candy-coated hard-rock riffs and free-jazz percussive freakouts.
From catchy songs to deafening walls of noise and back again, every Deerhoof album opens new sonic doors. The same is true of their latest record Noble and Godlike in Ruin. Deerhoof embark on a European tour this coming spring, returning to MeetFactory after two years.

The evening will open with BearCloud, a project of young musician and producer Šimon Havelka who blends the intimacy of introspective song-writing music with electronic elements. His work is characterized by deeply personal lyrics, an immersive atmosphere, and the ability to create space for deeper, focused listening. He released his debut album Faves in January 2025 via Polí5. The same label put out his four-track EP Meeting with a Bear came out in the autumn. For 2026, BearCloud is preparing the release of new material.
