Join us for an uplifting community celebration marking 20 years since Katrina—Deeply Rooted: 20 Years and Beyond. This event is part of Taproot Earth’s “K20 Week of Action” where each day has a specific focus. The focus for Sunday, August 31st is “HONORING”. That day, we will honor progress, investment, and the spirit of those who’ve shaped a brighter future.
Enjoy DJ “Two Scoops” (celebrating his birthday) from Tamborine & Fan, local food vendors, special ribbon-cutting for the Deeply Rooted mural, and a powerful multimedia experience. Wear white in celebration of light, life, and the spirit of community that shines through.
