Part of the Darcy Price NZ "Ocean" Surf Ski Series, the Deep South Downwind is a unique and epic downwind race. The race start location will be determined based on the wind conditions, with a spectacular Lake Whakatipu course taking in around 18km of dramatic downwind paddling. Start Time: To ensure the ultimate in wind conditions, consider this an all day event. The start time could be 7am or it could be 3pm and will be confirmed closer to the day. Registration must be on the day before the race.
