Deep, Soulful, Sound Healing Experience Using the Resonant Power of the Monastery Organ
Led by remarkable woman and acclaimed musician, Teena Lyle, marking International Women’s Day, 2026
Step into a deeply restorative sound healing experience in the awe-inspiring surroundings of The Monastery Manchester, created especially to mark International Women’s Day.
This special sound healing experience invites you to slow down, soften, and reconnect through the healing power of sound, music and gentle energy work, held within the sacred space of the Great Nave.
The session will be led by acclaimed musician, composer and sound healer Teena Lyle, featuring the resonant tones of the Monastery’s recently restored 19th-century Wadsworth Organ, now returned to its rightful place at the heart of the building. Played within this vast heritage space, the organ’s deep vibrations create a profoundly grounding and soulful experience, enhanced by Teena’s intuitive musical and vocal expression.
One of Teena’s recent compositions was written for the historic Willis Organ and premiered in August 2025 at St Paul’s Cathedral, London. The work was commissioned by Aurora Nova, the first resident professional women’s choir in a cathedral.
Co-facilitating the session is Carl Whitwell, long-standing Monastery practitioner and founder of Circles of Angelic Light. Carl will gently weave reiki, crystal healing and angelic guidance into the space, supporting a calm, nurturing atmosphere and deepening the sense of relaxation and connection.
Together, this collaboration offers a resonant, immersive journey through sound, stillness and subtle energy, allowing you to rest, release and simply be.
