This 50 minute class gently prepares the body and mind for an ancient tradition, mantra meditation. No experience needed. Bring a yoga mat and blanket/bolster- whatever you need to be comfortable in a seated position. We have chairs for anyone who prefers one. Practice will include gentle posture to release tension, diaphragmatic breathing to relax the central nervous system, mindfulness and systematic relaxation. Class concludes with a supported meditation practice creating space for stillness, clarity and a settled mind.
